In Series 5 of Mindful Moments with Miss Harrison, children discover powerful strategies for managing emotions, solving everyday challenges, and building strong, positive relationships. Each episode is filled with inspiring stories, mindfulness activities, and practical tools to help young listeners become confident, thoughtful problem-solvers. 🌈✨

Episode 1: Understanding Problems – Identifying the Emotions Behind a Problem

Before solving a problem, it’s important to understand how we’re feeling. In this episode, children learn how naming their emotions can help them make calmer, better choices. Through Emily’s missing paintbrush adventure, children discover that recognising feelings is the first step to solving challenges thoughtfully.

Episode 2: Big Problems vs Small Problems – Learning How to Prioritise

Some problems are small and manageable, while others are bigger and need support. Noah’s school day shows children how to pause, reflect, and decide whether they can solve a problem alone or need to ask for help.
Episode 3: Finding Solutions – Exploring Strategies to Solve Emotional Challenges

Emotional challenges feel easier to manage when we have a plan. Through James’s missed football goal story, children learn a simple 4-step solution strategy: Pause, think of options, choose the best one, and take action.
Episode 4: Handling Friendship Conflicts – Solving Disagreements Calmly and Kindly
